Optical Eye Exams

Rowan Eye Center provides complete eye care for patients ages 18 and over. Utilizing the most up to date equipment, we can detect cataracts, glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and many other eye conditions that may cause vision problems. Your prescription may be filled at our in house optical department, providing a one stop shop for our patients. Dr. Rowan recommends complete eye exams annually.

What to expect at our facility:

• If you are a new patient to us, it is important to arrive early to fill out our new patient packet. You may also print our new patient packet from our website. Bringing these completed forms to our office will minimize your wait time.
• Always have your insurance cards available for our front desk receptionists.
• Our friendly technicians will examine your eyes by testing your vision, checking for a change in your glasses’ prescription and evaluating your intraocular pressures for glaucoma.
• Your eyes may be dilated for a complete examination. Please come prepared with a driver if necessary.

Dr. Rowan examines your eyes for cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, dry eye syndrome and many other eye conditions. Dr. Rowan strives to educate all his patients on any eye conditions that may be affecting them. After your examination, Dr. Rowan will take time to discuss these conditions with you and help you understand the best ways to treat them.
